BENEFITS OF BOTTLED WATER
Why Bottled Spring Water Is Best for You
The tap water in Pensacola (and most areas) contains many chemicals and contaminants.
It does meet EPA standards, BUT, tap water can be “legal” and still be unhealthy to drink. The regulations governing drinking water are out of date, and federal law does not require water to be safe for long-term consumption. Fewer than 150 contaminants are regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act, yet there are more than 60,000 chemicals used in the U.S. And, the standards for what is “safe” for consumption have not been updated since the 1980s, despite recent studies showing that some chemicals are hazardous at lower levels than previously thought.
Pensacola’s water has been found to have 21 chemicals that exceed health guidelines, including radium, lead, and benzene, and 45 chemicals in total (see links below to study results and article regarding the study). The area’s drinking water supply comes from an underground aquifer, so any chemicals that are spilled on the ground will eventually find their way into the water supply. Since the Pensacola area has had many manufacturing plants, drycleaning facilities, and other sources of contamination over the years, there have been a great deal of chemicals introduced into our water.
Filters can’t remove every contaminant.
Even the most thorough system, reverse osmosis filtration, only removes 92-96%. And water that has been filtered with reverse osmosis can present its own problems, since it removes beneficial minerals such as calcium and magnesium. Drinking only water that has been filtered in this way can actually cause health problems such as cardiovascular issues, fatigue, headaches, and muscle cramps. If you choose an r/o filter, you must supplement your diet with these minerals to avoid adverse health effects.
Pure spring water tastes delicious—much better than tap.
This makes it easier for you and your family to drink more water each day, which is good for your health and energy level.
Why H2O Is the Best Bottled Spring Water Provider You Can Choose:
H2O pure bottled water is affordable. An average family of four can get home delivery of pure spring water for less than $1/day. We are priced at or below other water companies, and our delivery is free.
Top quality spring waters:
We carry two of the best quality pure spring waters in the country: Callaway Blue Spring Water from Pine Mountain, GA; and Nantze Drinking Water from a natural spring in Arlington, GA. Enjoy that fresh-from-the-spring taste and relax, knowing that this water is good for your health. Our most popular water, Callaway Blue, comes from natural springs in Georgia that have been protected since 1931. The water is bottled at the source from underwater caves and flows through a sealed delivery system to their 25,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art bottling plant. The water is incredibly pure at the source and is protected from contamination by animals or chemicals in groundwater due to its unique setting in deep caves lined with quartzite, a rock that keeps the total dissolved solids (TDS) level very low. This water is kept in its pristine condition through three levels of micron filtration before going into sterile bottles. Each batch is tested in house, and results are verified weekly by independent labs.
